Job summary

LaForce, Inc. in Green Bay, WI is seeking a skilled Welder to fabricate hollow metal door frames using MIG welding. The role requires reading shop drawings, assembling parts, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The schedule is Monday–Thursday 6:30am–3:00pm and Friday 6:30am–12:30pm, with pay starting at $20/hr and up based on experience. Forklift training will be provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in MIG welding (GMAW) and metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and production instructions.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification (training provided).
• Comfortable with hand tools and material handling.

Responsibilities

• Weld, fit, and assemble light-gauge sheet metal frames based on shop drawings and work orders.
• Grind and prep welds to meet quality and finish standards.
• Use MIG welding equipment, plasma cutters, grinders, saws, and other fabrication tools.
• Move materials using forklifts and carts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

LaForce is looking for a skilled Welder to join our Metal Frame Production team. In this role, you'll be responsible for fabricating and assembling hollow metal door frames using MIG welding and a variety of hand and power tools. If you're reliable, safety-focused, and take pride in precision work, we want to hear from you!

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:30am - 3:00pm; Friday, 6:30am - 12:30pm

Pay: $20/hr. and up based on experience.

What You'll Do:

• Weld, fit, and assemble light-gauge sheet metal frames based on shop drawings and work orders.

What You Bring:

Physical Requirements:
