Job summary

Dynatect Manufacturing in Valparaiso, IN is seeking a Welder for 1st shift (6:00am - 2:30pm) or 2nd shift (2:30pm - 11:00pm) with 10-hour shift start times as needed. You will set up welders, perform MIG and TIG welding, read drawings, and weld pieces to specification.

This role requires basic math, ability to read blueprints, and a reliable work history; high school diploma preferred. Prior welding experience is preferred; safety and cleanliness are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous welding experience preferred.
• Basic math skills: ability to read ruler, use tape measure and other measuring tools.
• Proven record of stable work history and good attendance.
• Must be able to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.

Welder

General Responsibilities

• Set up welder for maximum weld strength.

Physical Requirements

• Stand for 2/3 or more of the day.

• Lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) on a frequent basis.
