Job summary

Anchor Fabrication MS is seeking an entry-level welder trainee at our Mississippi shop. You will learn welding procedures and safety policies while receiving hands-on experience to prepare for welding certification.

Responsibilities include following a welding procedure specification and assisting senior welders in a fast-paced, quality-centered environment. We offer extensive benefits and a 401(k) plan, with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• Some welding experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Willing to stand for long periods and perform bending/kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply welding procedures.
• Learn and implement safety policies.
• Follow a WPS (Welding Procedure Specification).
• Assist higher level welders and gain hands-on experience toward certification.
