Job summary

Philips in Latham, NY is seeking a Welder 1 for the 2nd shift to join our manufacturing team fabricating MRI magnets. You will perform TIG and MIG welds, read drawings, and support cryogenic assemblies.

Onsite, full-time role with a 3:20pm–11:30pm schedule. Prior welding experience and the ability to operate cranes and forklifts are required. Philips offers Total Rewards including PTO, 401(k) match, HSA, stock purchase plan, and education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year welding experience and experience with mechanical assembly tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to perform vacuum-tight TIG welds on aluminum.
• Experience operating bridge cranes and forklift trucks.
• Ability to read and write to follow documentation procedures.
