Job summary

Primetals Technologies USA in Warren, OH is hiring a Welder for its Large Bearing Manufacturing and Repair area. Day shift with a 50-hour workweek. TIG welding experience preferred; training available. In-house training provided and a driver’s license required.

Responsibilities include welding to drawings, using air arc equipment, surface prep, and potential cross-training in bearing inspection and light CNC work. Benefits start on day one.

Qualifications

• TIG welding experience preferred; carbon steel and alloy steel highly desirable.
• Overhead crane and forklift experience preferred; training may be provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

• Welds parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.

We are looking to hire a Welder for ourLarge Bearing Manufacturing and Repair area at our Warren, OH location. Experience and skills will determine level and pay rate.

Day Shift: 50 hour workweek - Monday-Friday, Some Saturdays based on production demands

Responsibilities

• Performs TIG welding processes on steel parts using welding metals and metal alloys to assemble large roller bearings
• Welds parts according to engineering drawings and specifications

• Uses air arc equipment to cut and disassemble components under general supervision

• Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded
• Performs minimal assembly work
• Other work may be assigned at Management's discretion

• Candidates will have opportunities to develop additional skills through cross‑training in bearing inspection, grinding, and light CNC machining

Experience/Education/Skills/Certifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• TIG welding experience preferred. Experience welding carbon steel, alloy steel, or precision components is highly desirable
• Overhead crane and forklift experience preferred. Certification not required; training may be provided for qualified candidates
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
