Job summary

A leading engineering company in New London, OH is seeking a Welder to join their team. The successful candidate will perform various welding processes on parts using different metals, ensuring specifications and quality standards are met. A High School Diploma is required along with at least 6 months of related experience. The company offers in-house training for certifications and a comprehensive benefits package starting from the first day of employment.

Qualifications

• 6 months minimum experience, with skills determining classification level.
• In-house training will be provided for certification.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Welding experience with ability to follow drawings.
• In-house training provided to obtain certifications.
• Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding processes on various metals using welding equipment.
• Weld parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Use hand and flame cutting equipment for welding tasks.
• Clean and prepare surfaces for welding.
• Perform welding in multiple positions (G3, G6).
• Achieve Non-Destructive Testing Quality standards.
• Builds up worn or defective surfaces.
• Other duties as assigned.

Based upon our business growth and facility expansion, we are looking to hire for the position of Welder at our New London, OH facility.

Responsibilities

• Performs welding processes on aluminum, steel and other metals’ parts using welding metals and metal alloys
• Welds parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Under general supervision, uses hand welding and flame cutting equipment such as arc welders, gas welders, and gas torches to weld together metal components (flat, horizontal, or vertical plates and pipes)
• Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded
• Performs welding in multiple positions (G3, G6)
• Performs welding to Non‑Destructive Testing Quality (MT, UT)
• Builds up worn and/or defected surfaces
• Other work may be assigned at Management’s discretion

Experience/Education/Skills/Certifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least 6 months of experience; experience and skills will determine classification level and pay rate
• Crane/Forklift
• Welding
• In‐house training provided to obtain certifications
• Driver’s license
