Job summary

Primetals Technologies USA is seeking a Welder for our Large Bearing Manufacturing and Repair area at the Warren, OH location. You will perform TIG welding on steel parts and assemble bearings according to engineering drawings, with opportunities to cross-train in bearing inspection, grinding, and light CNC machining.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, TIG welding experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• TIG welding experience preferred; carbon steel, alloy steel, or precision components desirable.
• Overhead crane and forklift experience preferred; certification not required; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
• In-house training provided.
• Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs TIG welding processes on steel parts using welding metals and metal alloys to assemble large roller bearings.
• Welds parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Uses air arc equipment to cut and disassemble components under general supervision.
• Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.
• Performs minimal assembly work.
• Other work may be assigned at Management’s discretion.
• Candidates will have opportunities to develop additional skills through cross-training in bearing inspection, grinding, and light CNC machining.
