Job summary

Primetals Technologies USA in Warren, OH is hiring a Welder for its Large Bearing Manufacturing and Repair area. Day shift with a 50-hour workweek. TIG welding experience preferred; training available. In-house training provided and a driver’s license required.

Responsibilities include welding to drawings, using air arc equipment, surface prep, and potential cross-training in bearing inspection and light CNC work. Benefits start on day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• TIG welding experience preferred; carbon steel and alloy steel highly desirable.
• Overhead crane and forklift experience preferred; training may be provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Performs TIG welding on steel parts to assemble large roller bearings.
• Welds parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Uses air arc equipment to cut and disassemble components.
• Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.
• Performs minimal assembly and cross-training opportunities.
