Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is partnering with a Valley, NE employer to recruit a skilled Fitter Welder. This role offers second and third shifts with competitive hourly pay plus a $2 shift differential.

Responsibilities include welding, cleaning welds, and interpreting blueprints to select proper procedures. Candidates must maintain relevant AWS/CWB certifications and operate welding equipment safely in a clean, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Able to read blueprints and flat sheets to select weld procedures.
• Maintain and pass weld certificates for AWS, CWB, and other customers.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and perform basic maintenance.

Fitter Welder– $28.57 - $29.30/hr

What will you be doing?

• Weld and cleaning of welds


• Use blueprints to determine which weld procedure to use in order to assure weld soundness and integrity

What do you bring?

• Read and decipher blueprints and flat sheets without assistance and use them to properly weld scheduled work


• Pass and maintain weld certificates for AWS, CWB, and several other customers required certifications in GMAW welding


• Setup, operate, and performs general maintenance of equipment without difficulty


• Make mathematical calculation in finish welding product to the proper specifications


• Accurately read and use a tape measure, compass, micrometer, mag level, protractor, versa gauge, and caliper
