Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Valley, NE seeks a skilled Fitter Welder to weld and inspect components. You will read blueprints, set up welding equipment, and ensure welds meet specifications. Qualifications

• Read and decipher blueprints and flat sheets to weld as scheduled.
• Maintain AWS, CWB and other customer certifications in GMAW welding.
• Set up, operate and perform basic maintenance of welding equipment.
• Make precise measurements to finish welding products per spec.

Fitter Welder – $28.57 - $29.43/hr

• $ 28.58 - $ 29.43 +$2 shift differential
• 2nd shift M-F 3 pm -11 pm or 3rd shift S-T 11 pm - 7 am

What will you be doing?

• Weld and cleaning of welds
• Use blueprints to determine which weld procedure to use in order to assure weld soundness and integrity

What do you bring?

• Read and decipher blueprints and flat sheets without assistance and use them to properly weld scheduled work
• Pass and maintain weld certificates for AWS, CWB, and several other customers required certifications in GMAW welding
• Setup, operate, and performs general maintenance of equipment without difficulty
• Make mathematical calculation in finish welding product to the proper specifications
• Accurately read and use a tape measure, compass, micrometer, mag level, protractor, versa gauge, and caliper
