Job summary

Jobot in Tacoma, WA is seeking a skilled MIG Welder with stainless steel experience to join our design-forward, custom fabrication shop. You will read blueprints, set up jigs, and consistently produce clean, high-quality welds on architectural metalwork in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of MIG or welding experience, including stainless steel.
• Experience with custom fabrication or architectural metalwork preferred.
• Proficient with grinders, saws, presses, brakes, and other welding equipment.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Ability to produce clean, high-quality welds.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with shop safety protocols and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprints and weld components to spec on stainless and other metals.
• Operate grinders, saws, presses, brakes and related welding equipment.
• Maintain clean, high-quality welds and inspect finished work.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production timelines.
• Adhere to shop safety protocols and PPE requirements.
