Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to support fabrication and welding of metal components. You will read blueprints, fit and weld parts, and work with TIG and MIG processes on various materials.

Shift options include 1st and 2nd; days are Monday-Friday, with safety and quality as top priorities. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to drawings, and the ability to work with grinders and measuring tools in a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment or completion of a recognized welding trade school.
• Experience with TIG and MIG welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience assisting with fabrication and assembly of components from engineering specifications.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools, including grinders and measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Fit, assemble, and weld components according to specifications.
• Assist Journeyman Welders with fabrication and assembly projects.
• Perform TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding on various materials and assemblies.
• Use welding fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools to ensure accurate assembly.
• Operate hand grinders and other fabrication tools to prepare and finish welded parts.
• Perform quality checks to verify weld integrity and dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
• Support fabrication activities as directed by supervisors or lead personnel.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Welder / Fitter to support the fabrication and assembly of metal components and welded structures. This role requires experience with TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding processes, the ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Hours: 1st shift and 2nd shift available

1st Shift - Monday - Thursday (6:00am - 4:30pm)

2nd Shift - Monday - Thursday (4:00pm - 2:30am)

Days: Monday-Friday
