Job summary

ALACRIANT, INC. in Streetsboro, OH is seeking a skilled welder with 3–5 years of metal fabrication experience to perform high-quality welds on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

This role requires reading blueprints, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to a collaborative shop environment. The ideal candidate shows proficiency in MIG and TIG welding, understands welding symbols, and has a solid grasp of material properties and heat effects.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on welding experience in a fabrication environment.
  • Proficient in MIG and TIG welding (Stick welding is a plus)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols
  • Strong knowledge of metal types, thicknesses, and behavior under heat
  • Familiarity with grinders, torches, plasma cutters, and other tools
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
  • AWS Certification preferred but not required
  • High school diploma or GED required, trade school or vocational training a plus

Job Summary

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. regularly
  • Stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions throughout the shift
  • Comfortable working in a shop environment with exposure to heat, sparks, and metal particles
