Job summary

ALACRIANT, INC. in Streetsboro, OH is seeking a skilled welder with 1–3 years of hands-on fabrication experience. You will perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel, stainless, and aluminum, read blueprints, and follow safety guidelines in a busy shop.

Shifts are Monday through Thursday, 2:30 pm to 1:00 am, with a $3.00 per hour shift differential and overtime as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required; trade training is a plus with benefits including a 401(k), Health Savings

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols.
• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding; Stick welding a plus.
• Reads technical drawings and weld symbols to ensure proper fabrication.
• Knows metal types, thicknesses, and behavior under heat.
• Familiar with grinders, torches, plasma cutters, and related tools.
• Holds attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• AWS certification preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED required; trade training a plus.

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled welder with at least one year of experience in metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding processes, shop drawings, and safety practices. This role involves performing high-quality welds on various materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Position is Monday-Thursday night; 2:30pm-1:00am. OT as needed.

Shift differential of $3.00 per hour.

Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding as required
• Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components according to specifications
• Set up and operate welding equipment and fabrication machinery
• Inspect completed welds and structures to ensure quality and compliance
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines
• Follow all company safety guidelines and OSHA regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on welding experience in a fabrication environment
• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding (Stick welding is a plus)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols
• Strong knowledge of metal types, thicknesses, and behavior under heat
• Familiarity with grinders, torches, plasma cutters, and other tools

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. regularly
• Stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a shop environment with exposure to heat, sparks, and metal particles
