What you get to do

1. Perform arc and gas welding, metal cutting, and metal repair for all park properties.
2. Assist with the layout and repair of metal equipment necessary for park operation.
3. Execute welding safety procedures and comply with hot permit policies.
4. Perform maintenance inspections of rides.

What it takes to succeed

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Valid Driver's License.
3. Certified in "4G" 3/8 plate welding and working toward a "6G" pipe certification.
4. At least 3 years of experience with torches, flame welding, inert gas welding, and electric arc welding.
5. Knowledge of all welding aspects and basic metal types.
6. Understanding of gases and their safe application.
7. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
8. Proficiency in English, basic math, reading, and writing skills.
9. Ability to lift 50+ pounds safely with assistance.
10. Physical ability to stand on ladders for long periods and climb various heights.
11. Full mobility to walk, sit, stand, stoop, climb, push, pull, bend, and squat.
12. Ability to work rotating shifts, including overtime as required.
