Tradesmen International is hiring experienced Welders for projects in the Portage, IN area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level.

Responsibilities

• Set up & operate MIG, TIG, and Stick welding equipment
• Read blueprints and AWS weld symbols
• Lay out, cut, fit, tack and weld metal components to tight tolerances
• Operate plasma cutters, grinders, band saws, and drill presses
• Perform quality checks
• Inspect for quality and dimensional accuracy
• Operate overhead/jib cranes and forklifts
