Qualifications

  • Must have GMAW/MIG welding experience.
  • Ability to run a continuous bead without stopping.
  • Able to read measuring devices accurately.
  • Must be able to pass various weld tests, competency testing, and a math test.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on structural and production components
  • Weld I-beams, frames, and fuel tanks in flat and overhead positions
  • Weld sheet metal ranging from 10 gauge up to 1-inch thickness
  • Clamp, hold, tack weld, grind, and bolt component parts as required
  • Weld, position, and secure workpieces using hoist cranes, wire and banding machines, and hand tools
  • Inspect products and equipment for defects, quality issues, and malfunctions
  • Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all shop safety standards

This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $22-24/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope
