Job summary

Caliberr Staffing in Pittsburgh seeks a skilled welder to set up and complete a variety of welding assignments using Flux-Cored Arc Welding, MIG and TIG. A strong test performance will determine placement.

Candidates must pass a 3G open root plate weld test on 1 inch material with double bevel and back gouge on the second side. Shifts rotate biweekly between 7:00 AM and 12:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Must pass Plate Weld Test.
• 1 inch thick material with double bevel and back gouge on second side.

Responsibilities

• Set up welding assignments for production and complete welds.
• Operate Flux-Cored Arc Welder, MIG and TIG where required, and submerged arc welding as needed.
• Rotate first and second shifts every two weeks (7:00 AM–3:30 PM and 3:30 PM–12:00 AM).

Our weld test for the welders is a 3G open root plate test. 1 inch thick material with double bevel with back gouge on second side..

Rotating 1st and s2nd shift every 2 weeks - 7am - 3:30pm for 2 weeks, 3:30pm - 12am for 2 weeks.

Up tp $25/ hour based on experience and the results of the weld test.
