Job summary

Enterprise Precast Concrete in Omaha, NE, is seeking a welder to join our steel shop production area. You will operate MIG welding equipment, cut torches, grinders, and deburring tools to fabricate precast components.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of welding experience, and blueprint reading ability. Certifications are preferred. Competitive compensation with benefits and opportunities for overtime and advancement are available.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience required or preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Able to read a tape measure and perform basic arithmetic.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fabrication.
• Follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.

Enterprise Precast Concrete is the nation's premier provider of high quality architectural precast components for decades. We provide products from architectural panels and custom architectural fabrication to site furnishings and design/build consultation. We are currently hiring a welder to join our steel shop production area operating welding equipment to include: MIG, cutting torches, grinders and de-burring equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operation of MIG welding machine
• Daily Operation
• Responsible for coordinating fabrication layouts
• Must have blueprint reading experience and able to read a tape measure
• Math abilities in include being able to add and subtract proficiently
• Able to follow detailed instruction

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of related welding experience
• Welding Certification preferred
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and technical specifications
• Ability to read and understand piece tickets
