Job summary

Enterprise Precast Concrete, part of Enterprise Properties, Inc., is seeking a concrete laborer for its production team. This role involves learning to set up forms, pour and finish precast components, and work under a crew leader.

You should have at least 1 year of concrete laborer experience, be physically capable of lifting, and willing to work in varying weather. We offer full-time year-round work, medical/dental/vision after 60 days, 401(k) with match, overtime eligibility and internal

Responsibilities

• Learn basic concrete fabrication by setting up/oiling forms, laying mesh, tying rebar and inserts.
• Striking off and stripping forms; cleaning up.
• Show consistent improvement and take initiative on production tasks.
• Maintain plant safety per Safety Manual and policy.
• Be a team player and contribute to process improvements.
• Arrive on time and adhere to company policies.

Enterprise Precast Concrete is the nation’s premier provider of high quality architectural precast components for decades. We provide products from architectural panels and custom architectural fabrication to site furnishings and design/build consultation. We are currently looking to add a concrete laborer to our production team! Below is more regarding job specifics.

Job responsibilities:

• Works under direct supervision of a crew leader for the purpose of learning the following basic skills:
• Setting up and oiling forms
• Laying mesh
• Tying reinforcing bars
• Tying steel
• Setting inserts
• Striking off
• Stripping forms
• Cleaning up
• Shows consistent improvement in the ability to perform work utilizing these skills.
• Takes the initiative to remain involved in productive work throughout the workday, either by performing work related to fabrication of precast concrete products or by informing the Crew Leader of availability to perform other tasks.
• Comes to work regularly and on time, in accordance with company policy.
• Demonstrates loyalty to the company and mutual respect for other personnel.
• Functions as a team player, and looks for ways to improve the way work is done
• Assumes responsibility for maintaining plant safety in accordance with the Enterprise Properties, Inc. Safety Manual and the direction of the Safety Coordinator.
