Everidge, Inc is seeking a full-time Welder in Covesville, VA to read specs, weld parts, and assemble panels with gasket materials. You will align panels, verify measurements with a tape measure, and perform safety inspections daily.

The role requires collaboration with the production team and support for other departments. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and experience with reading drawings and following quality standards.

# WelderHot JobCovesville VA - Covesville, VA 22931## OverviewPosition TypeFull TimeJob Shift1st Shift## Description**Essential duties and responsibilities include, however are not limited to:*** Ability to read and follow specification sheets and drawings* Ensures all parts are assembled in direct compliance with Everidge’s quality standards.* Produce quality welding for all required parts* Correctly inserts gasket material when installing all panels* Correctly aligns all vertical panels, bases, floor, and roof sections before assembly* Assists base and roof personnel whenever assistance is needed* Conduct daily safety and operational inspections on equipment being used, recording all information on the appropriate form* Applies gasket material accurately and in a timely manner* Uses metal tape measure to verify all parts – both length and width* Correctly identifies all parts required to complete the assembly process – using only those identified for the specific building being assembled* Segregates useable metal and wood pieces, storing them properly and using them for other applications. Contributing to 5S procedures.* Cross trains within other departments.* Communicates effectively with production team, internal employees, and individuals external to the organization* Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects relating to training and development## Qualifications**Physical Effort/requirements:*** Display the ability to safely handle all panels and parts used in assembly* Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.* Ability to stand for extended periods of time with periodic break periods* Ability to work safely around heavy equipment mechanical devices# **Recommended Training/Education:*** High School Diploma or GED.* Computer software experience in word processing, spreadsheets, email, etc.
