Job summary

Must be experienced and reliable in using a welder and welding product. Secures and maintains correct component parts and supplies required for the operation.**Principle Duties and Responsibilities*** Must be able to operate welder and welding machinery and tools* Completes work area set up* Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed manner and in accordance with quality standards* Operates equipment and tools as required to complete assembly process* Prevents and controls waste of raw material* Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with standards* Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate* Completes pre-shift/startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns* Maintains a clean and orderly work environment* Provides basic TPM to equipment and completes TPM paperwork when required* Maintains production records as required* Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards* Participates in safety, CI and other programs and meetings* Performs other duties as assigned**Qualifications*** Working knowledge of Company products and specifications* Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and specifications* Ability and skill to MIG weld and operate fabrication shop machinery* Ability to measure accurately* Working knowledge of OSHA regulations applicable to a shop environment* Effective communication, teamwork, production, and stress management skills* Ability to easily adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with or without using a calculator* Computer literate### *The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.*
