Job summary

Francis Manufacturing Company is seeking a welder for first shift in Ohio. Hours are 6:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. You will train with our current TIG production welder on competent aluminum welding for castings and may also work in the Grinding Department as needed.

Experience with TIG welding aluminum is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with welding background. Great work ethic, initiative, and teamwork are valued and attendance is important.

Qualifications

• Experience with TIG welding with aluminum is preferred, but training may be provided.
• Good attendance and strong work ethic are essential.
• Willingness to work in the Grinding Department when not welding.

Responsibilities

• Weld aluminum castings using TIG welding on a first-shift schedule.
• Grind seams and rough edges in the Grinding Department to prepare castings for customers.
• Support production by filling in welding duties as needed based on production demands.

Job description

Francis Manufacturing Company is seeking a welder for first shift. Hours are 6:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.

This position will train with our current TIG production welder on competent aluminum welding for castings and will work part of the time in weld on a regular basis, filling in based upon production needs. When not working in welding, this position will also work in the Grinding Department. Grinders are responsible for grinding and smoothing seams and rough edges off of our castings before they are sent to our customers using various grinding equipment.

Experience with TIG welding with aluminum is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual with a weld background. Experience with Grinding also preferred, but training is provided on the job. Great work ethic, initiative, and team work are all a plus. Good attendance is required.

Francis Manufacturing Company works with area staffing agencies and you will initially be hired through an agency for approximately 8 weeks. During this time your overall performance and attendance will be evaluated and a determination made as to your potential for hire.

• Excellent Wages and Benefits: beginning pay range between $23.00-$25.00/hour with increases every 4 weeks. Top pay will range between $28.00 - $32.00/hour.
