Job summary

Francis Manufacturing Company is seeking a welder for first shift. Hours are 6:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. The role involves TIG welding with aluminum for castings and occasional grinding duties in the Grinding Department.

Experience with TIG welding on aluminum is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate. Grinding experience is also a plus, with on‑the‑job training provided. Strong work ethic and attendance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with TIG welding with aluminum is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual with a weld background.
• Experience with Grinding also preferred, but training is provided on the job.
• Great work ethic, initiative, and team work are all a plus.
• Good attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Welding aluminum castings using TIG welding on first shift.
• Work part of the time in weld and fill in based on production needs.
• When not welding, work in the Grinding Department to smooth seams and edges.
