Job summary

Francis Manufacturing Company is seeking a welder for first shift in Ohio. Hours are 6:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. You will train with our current TIG production welder on competent aluminum welding for castings and may also work in the Grinding Department as needed.

Experience with TIG welding aluminum is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with welding background. Great work ethic, initiative, and teamwork are valued and attendance is important.

Qualifications

• Experience with TIG welding with aluminum is preferred, but training may be provided.
• Good attendance and strong work ethic are essential.
• Willingness to work in the Grinding Department when not welding.

Responsibilities

• Weld aluminum castings using TIG welding on a first-shift schedule.
• Grind seams and rough edges in the Grinding Department to prepare castings for customers.
• Support production by filling in welding duties as needed based on production demands.
