Job description

Job Title: Production Associate 2 Welder

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $17.75 per hour

1st Shift: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate various hand tools to manually construct window units
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials based on specifications
• Ensure high-quality welds to meet production standards
• Operate welding machines to fabricate and assemble window frames using various welding techniques
• Ensure accurate measurements and alignment during the welding process
• Perform quality inspections and audits, and engage in problem-solving activities to resolve issues
• Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments or repairs
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures and regulations (5S / PPE / LOTO)
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and efficiency
• Work in other areas as required

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for the entire shift
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and measuring tools
• Ability to perform basic math operations
• Ability to recognize materials by shape
• Capable of using computerized equipment
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in various positions
• Cross-train and rotate on various workstations within the line/complex
• Ability to use a tape measure
