Job summary

Primetals Technologies USA, LLC is recruiting for a 1st shift Fabricator in Decatur, AL. The role focuses on fabricating and assembling metal products, performing welding and cutting, and interpreting blueprints to ensure quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities include setup, alignment, and inspection of parts, as well as selecting appropriate methods when specifications are not available, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings.
• Experience with welding, brazing, and cutting processes.

• Inspects incoming equipment to determine if maintenance is required.
• Determines operation sequences and methods where specifications are not available.
• Accurate aligning and fitting is required.
• Using a torch or an oxygen lance, dismantles, assembles and cuts materials to size and shape.
