Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Prefer experience with CNC Machining.
• In-house training provided to obtain certification for Crane/Forklift.
• Proper use of Safety Equipment (boots, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves).
• Proficient use of micrometers, calipers and bore gauges.

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC machinery to mill, punch, drill, broach or ream metal/plastic parts.
• Makes tool adjustments to meet specifications.
• Works from drawings and instructions to create parts for repairs.
• Maintains routine machining with ordinary tolerances.
• Monitors machines for proper operation and basic safety checks.
• Performs daily housekeeping and maintenance checks on equipment.
• Complies with safety protocols and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

We are looking to hire CNC Machinists at our New London, OH! Classification and base pay rate will be dependent upon skillset and prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates computer numerical controlled (CNC) machinery that automatically mills, punches, drills, broaches or reams metal and/or plastic parts
• Makes tool adjustments to adhere to established specifications
• Works from drawings and written instructions to create replacement and new parts in making repairs to metal parts
• Work is routine and machining is performed to ordinary tolerances
• Requires basic knowledge of various metals and of measurements used in machining processes
• Monitors work to ensure that machine is not malfunctioning
• Performs housekeeping of machine and work area
• Performs daily maintenance check of machine
• Other work may be assigned at Management’s discretion

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Classification and base pay rate will be dependent upon skillset and prior experience. Prefer experience with CNC Machining.

• Proper use of Safety Equipment such as Safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses and gloves
• Proper use of tools such as Inside and Outside Micrometers, Depth Micrometer, Calipers, Bore Gages and other General Hand Tools
