Job Responsibilities:

1. Must be mechanically inclined and able to use hand tools.
2. Weld parts as necessary to meet production standards.
3. Use basic inspection equipment such as calipers, mics, torque wrenches, gauges, and other tools.
4. Perform source inspection using traveling check sheets on every unit.
5. Perform daily TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
6. Use stop-the-line authority at any sign of safety or quality concerns.
7. Follow daily work instructions and standard work procedures.
8. Complete all daily data collection as established.
9. Perform daily 5S activities to maintain workplace organization.

Qualifications / Training / Skill Requirements:

1. Ability to read blueprints.
2. Good understanding of inventory control.
3. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
4. Must have or be able to obtain a forklift license.
5. Recognize the importance of working safely.
6. Understanding of quality standards for products.
7. Average or above-average skills in numeric and visual recall.
8. Computer literacy.
9. Must pass an annual weld test.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.

Experience Requirements:

• Welding experience is preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to work in sometimes extreme temperatures.
