Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Orbital TIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in orbital welding processes, specifically using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding to join various materials such as stainless steel, titanium, and other alloys. As an Orbital TIG Welder, you will be responsible for executing precise, high-quality welds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate orbital TIG welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal components.
• Perform welding on piping systems, tubes, and vessels with a high degree of precision.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality welds in accordance with industry standards and specifications.
• Conduct pre-welding and post-welding inspections to verify weld quality and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with welding equipment and processes.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ensure proper material preparation, such as cleaning and surface preparation, before welding.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure project specifications are met.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including welding logs and inspection reports.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and calibration when needed.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified in Orbital TIG welding.
• Knowledge of welding symbols, blueprints, and codes (e.g., ASME, AWS).
• Ability to operate and maintain orbital welding machines.
• Familiarity with various metals, welding techniques, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, precision, and quality assurance.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification from a recognized welding institution (e.g., ASME, AWS).
