Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking an experienced Welder to perform repairs and fabrication on front-end and roll-off containers. You will weld steel and aluminum components, grind welds, and fabricate parts for trucks and containers, including on-site work at customer locations.

The role requires welding experience and computer literacy to update work orders; a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are preferred. Join a team with strong safety practices and broad benefits.

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Welder.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and maintenance on front and read load, and roll-off containers, cuts/weld repairs to vehicle floors, bodies, packing blades, rails, fabrication.
• Grinds metal parts after welding
• Weld steel and aluminum components using Mig, Tig and arc welding equipment.
• Bends steel components using a break ad shear.
• Cuts steel using a plasma cutter or torch.
• Fabricates steel components on trucks and containers.
• Installs lids and wheels on containers.
• Paints repaired and/or new containers.
• Performs on-site repairs at customer locations.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Completes required paperwork.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, carry and push/pull at least 75 pounds.
• Climb into and out of equipment.

Required

• Welding experience.
• Use of computers to update assigned work orders.

Preferred

• Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification
• Valid Driver's License
