Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a self-motivated Welder for our Manhattan, KS facility. You will join our production team, handling in-house projects and meeting deadlines while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow proper welding procedures and welding symbols on drawings.
• Use calibrated measuring tools (measuring tapes, squares, etc.) to properly fit up assemblies.
• Utilize industry tools and equipment. Hand, pneumatic, electric, and battery powered tools. Plasma cutters, oxyacetylene torches, and carbon air arc.
• Weld parts in various positions, processes (GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW), and materials (Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel).
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Assist in other areas of production as needed or as assigned.

We are looking for a self-motivated, quality-minded, highly skilled Welder to join our production team at our new facility in Manhattan, KS. In this position, welders work on in-house projects. Welders are expected to safely complete each job within specific deadlines to ensure we meet our customers’ needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow proper welding procedures and welding symbols on drawings.
• Use calibrated measuring tools (measuring tapes, squares, etc.) to properly fit up assemblies.
