Job description

We are System s, LLC, a leading manufacturer and designer of loading dock equipment. We continue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization.

This role is within Systems' Manufacturing and Production group. A successful incumbent is expected to:

  1. Weld and assemble different pieces using hand-held and robotic welding equipment, such as hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures; utilizing materials like plate steel, sheet steel, structural steel, and tubing.
  2. Prepare and complete manual and robotic welding work on materials by welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal.
  3. Test and inspect welded components to ensure they meet specifications before moving to the next department.
  4. Work from different specifications and shop orders.
  5. Utilize measuring tools such as rulers, squares, templates, and gauges to take and read measurements.
  6. Operate cranes, hoists, and lift tables.
  7. Report damages on machines and equipment and maintain equipment to ensure safety.
  8. Report all unsafe conditions to management.
  9. Monitor and control the robotic welding process, operate robotic welding equipment, and program robotic welding systems.
  10. Perform visual inspection of weld quality.
  11. Provide work reports and feedback to supervisors or engineering teams.
  12. Set up and prepare robotic welding equipment for operation.
  13. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  15. Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules, ensuring team compliance.
  16. Protect the company's and Systems’ reputation by maintaining confidentiality.
  17. Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, reading, networking, and participating in professional societies.
  18. Contribute to team efforts by participating in projects and achieving related results.

Associate II, Welder Qualifications

1+ year of robotic welding experience required.

Basic knowledge of MIG welding, handheld plasma machines, and cutting torches using methods like steel cutting, acetylene, etc.

Basic knowledge of welding techniques, material characteristics, and structural fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications include recognized robotic welding certification, experience with solid core wires and welding gases, and 3-5 years of experience in robotic welding environments.

The pay for this position is ($19.50); base pay may vary based on factors like location, education, and experience. Benefits include a comprehensive package, 401k, and more.

This role is eligible for a short-term incentive plan.
