Job summary

QPS Employment Group has a great Welder position available at a company in Wentzville, WI.

Responsibilities include setting up and performing all-position welding per procedures, reading blueprints, and inspecting welds. Shift options are 1st and 2nd, with 7:00am-3:00pm and 3:00pm-11:00pm, typically 10-hour days four days a week. MIG welding experience required; TIG and robotic welding experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience or certification from a reputable welding school.
• TIG welding, layout, and setup experience preferred but not required.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Able to stand and bend throughout the shift.
• Able to work 10-hour days, four days a week.
• Able to read tape measures, calipers, and welding gauges.
• Able to read manufacturing blueprints, including weld symbols.
• Fork truck experience is a plus (training provided).
