Job Description

IMKO is currently hiring a Welder who is familiar with all types of materials, components, and products. The primary welding methods used are MIG and TIG. Most welding is performed in-shop, with some travel within a 50-mile radius, including nightly returns. Candidates with shop experience or classroom training are encouraged to apply.

Requirements of the Welder

1. High school Diploma / Equivalent
2. Experience with MIG / TIG welding
3. Ability to collect equipment and materials based on production needs
4. Fabricate components by cleaning, preparing, cutting, burning, and welding pieces
5. Use measuring tools accurately
6. Determine appropriate welding techniques
7. Document work appropriately
8. Maintain a safe work environment and upkeep of machines
9. Read blueprints
10. Use grinders and buffers to finish welds
11. Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport materials

Benefits of the Welder Position

1. Hours: Monday – Friday, 7 am - 3 pm
