Job summary

Aerotek in Lake Crystal, MN is seeking a Welder and Fabricator to join a large manufacturing operation. You will perform MIG welding and grinding on truck bodies, read blueprints to guide fabrication, and help deliver high-quality assemblies on the first shift.

This contract-to-hire, onsite role offers a competitive pay range of $22.00–$29.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and a 401(k).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join our team. You will play a crucial role in the fabrication of truck bodies, utilizing your expertise in welding and grinding to ensure high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and grinding of welds on truck bodies.
• Utilize MIG welding techniques to fabricate and assemble truck bodies.
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide fabrication processes.

• Experience with grinding and welding processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in reading a tape measure.
• Comfortable learning and using an overhead lifting device.

Work Environment

Work in a large, open factory/plant floor with dim lighting due to welding stations. The building features large overhead cranes and spacious welding stations to accommodate grinding activities post-welding. Benefit from good ventilation throughout the facility. Full-time position on the 1st shift, Monday through Thursday, 5:45 am to 4:15 pm, with overtime as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LAKE CRYSTAL, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
