Position Overview

Orano is seeking Experienced Welders to support work in its nuclear fabrication facility in Kernersville, NC. This position offers top pay and outstanding benefits with no waiting period.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

• Weld components using GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding processes.
• Perform fit-up as needed in fabrication process.
• Work from travelers (shop routers), procedures, standards, and instructions.
• Maintain traceability of materials and processes.
• Operate grinders and perform other fabrication tasks.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Ensure proper functioning of equipment and maintain tooling.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $27-$31/hour. Includes competitive health and wellness programs, 401(k), and paid time off. Salary is based on experience and qualifications.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience.
• Proficiency in GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) welding, with certifications.
• Ability to read blueprints and weld maps.
• Knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing practices.
• Experience with electrical/manual tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
