Job summary

Summit Truck Bodies, LLC. is hiring full-time Welders in Wathena, KS to fabricate custom truck bodies per blueprints. We offer a strong benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, PTO and holidays, and an employee car discount program.

Ideal candidates have high school or GED, experience with hydraulics and welding, blueprint reading, and the ability to read blueprints and use various tools in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulics, vehicle electrical systems, mechanical systems, installation techniques and welding.
• Ability to efficiently use various power and hand tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fit assemblies according to blueprints.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specs.
• Operate and maintain shop equipment.
• Support general shop cleanup and safety rules.
• Take on other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
