Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions, LLC is seeking a skilled Welder to join our metal fabrication team in Henderson, TN. This 1st shift role runs Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, with a potential 3rd shift for extended coverage.

You will weld parts per blueprints, inspect weld quality, and ensure proper surface prep for reliable welds. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of welding experience, MIG proficiency, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on welding experience in a production or fabrication environment.
• Proficiency with MIG welding; experience with TIG or Stick welding is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols
• Strong understanding of welding safety standards and metallurgy basics
• Experience with metal fabrication processes and press operations preferred
• Ability to work the 3rd shift schedule consistently and reliably
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods (up to 50 lbs regularly)
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality over speed

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick, or combination) to join metal components according to specifications and blueprints
• Inspect welds for quality, alignment, and adherence to engineering standards before parts move to next production stage
• Prepare metal surfaces through grinding, cleaning, and degreasing to ensure proper weld integrity
• Maintain welding equipment and notify maintenance of any malfunctions or needed repairs
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications accurately
• Work with pressing operations to coordinate seamless part assembly and material flow
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work station; follow all safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures
• Meet production quotas and quality standards while working independently during 3rd shift
• Communicate clearly with shift supervisors and team members regarding production status and issues
• Support continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and quality concerns

Description

We're seeking a skilled Welder to join our metal fabrication team. This is a critical role in our production operation, where you'll work on pressing and assembling metal parts that serve various industrial applications. This is a 1st shift role with a schedule of Monday - Friday from 7am-3:30pm.

How You Will Help
