Job summary

Super Radiator Coils is hiring for a 2nd shift welding position. You will read blueprints, set up and operate welding equipment, and TIG weld stainless and carbon steel from 1/16 to 1/2 inch. The role includes marking welds, preparing surfaces, and ensuring quality while complying with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Read detailed instructions and blueprints to determine weld points and assembly requirements.
• Operate and monitor welding and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently.
• Measure dimensions with measuring tape to ensure accuracy of parts and assemblies.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and handle material handling in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Mark weld points and positions on workpieces.
• Set up and align jigs, holding fixtures, guides, or stops on machines.
• Bolt and clamp fixtures using hand tools and measuring devices.
• Repair or rework defective welds to meet quality standards.
• Remove finished pieces from machinery and prepare surfaces for welding.
• Follow safety and quality procedures, maintain clean and organized work area.

Description:2nd Shift: 2:30pm-1:00am Monday-Thursday ($1.00/hr Shift Differential Applies)Job Responsibilities:Specific job duties will vary based on the position that is best suited with the skills, experience, and interests of qualified applicants. Our production areas include machine operators, assembly, brazing, welding, crating, tube fabrication, material handler.Utilize work orders and blueprints to ensure work is assembled according to specifications.Mark weld points and positions of components on workpieces, using rules, squares, templates, or scribes.Select, position, align, and bolt jigs, holding fixtures, guides, or stops onto machines, using measuring instruments and hand tools.Perform necessary repairs/reworks on defective or non-compliant welds.Remove completed workpieces or parts from machinery, using hand tools.Prepare surfaces or workpieces, using hand-operated equipment, such as grinders, cutters, or drills.Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and quality standards.TIG weld stainless and carbon steel between 1/16th and ½ inch.RequirementsQualifications (preferred):Associate degree in WeldingManufacturing experienceQualifications (required):Ability to read detailed instructions and blueprints.Ability to operate machinery and tools.Ability to measure via measuring tape.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.High School Degree / GED / Certificate.Basic Computer SkillsKnowledge of PPESummaryAbout the Company:At Super Radiator Coils, we’re super passionate about what we do!
