Job summary

Super Radiator Coils is seeking skilled welders for 2nd shift (2:30pm-1:00am, Mon-Thu) in Minnesota. The role includes reading blueprints, welding stainless and carbon steel using TIG, and working within safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read detailed instructions and blueprints.
  • Ability to operate machinery and tools.
  • Ability to measure using a measuring tape.
  • High School Diploma or GED; Welding-related education preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of PPE.

Responsibilities

  • Follow work orders and blueprints to assemble products per specifications.
  • Mark weld points and positions on parts using rules and templates.
  • Set up, align, and bolt jigs and fixtures onto machines.
  • Perform repairs/reworks on defective welds.
  • Remove finished parts from machinery and prepare surfaces for welding.
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards; TIG weld stainless and carbon steel 1/16 to 1/2 inch.

2nd Shift: 2:30pm-1:00am Monday-Thursday ($1.00/hr Shift Differential Applies)

Job Responsibilities

Specific job duties will vary based on the position that is best suited with the skills, experience, and interests of qualified applicants. Our production areas include machine operators, assembly, brazing, welding, crating, tube fabrication, material handler.

  • Utilize work orders and blueprints to ensure work is assembled according to specifications.
  • Mark weld points and positions of components on workpieces, using rules, squares, templates, or scribes.
  • Select, position, align, and bolt jigs, holding fixtures, guides, or stops onto machines, using measuring instruments and hand tools.
  • Perform necessary repairs/reworks on defective or non-compliant welds.
  • Remove completed workpieces or parts from machinery, using hand tools.
  • Prepare surfaces or workpieces, using hand-operated equipment, such as grinders, cutters, or drills.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and quality standards.
  • TIG weld stainless and carbon steel between 1/16th and ½ inch.
Qualifications (preferred)
  • Associate degree in Welding
  • Manufacturing experience
Qualifications (required)

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • High School Degree / GED / Certificate.
