Job summary

Bastian Automation is seeking a Welder for general welding and fitting to produce weldments for material equipment projects. The role includes fabrication, assembly and painting, plus shop maintenance. Typical duties require maintaining tolerances per prints and an onsite weld test to establish skill.

• Relevant welding experience required.

• General knowledge of fabrication equipment including horizontal saws, lathes, mills, & drill presses
• Onsite weld test given prior to employment to establish skill set.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
• Employees must follow information security policies, protect confidential data, complete required training, and report any suspected security incidents to support our information security controls.

Job Description

A Welder for Bastian Automation will be responsible for general welding/fitting producing weldments for material equipment projects. The main emphasis for this position is welding/fitting, other duties to include fabrication, assembly and painting of projects as well as general repair and maintenance of Bastian Solutions shop equipment. A Welder will be responsible for maintaining tolerances and dimensions specified by individual print. A Welder I will typically have 1-2 years of experience in the welding/fitting field.

Shift

• 1 st Shift: Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Functions
