Job summary

Bastian Automation is seeking a Production Technician I in Indiana to perform assembly of volume material handling equipment. Under guidance you will read standard work instructions, assemble components, inspect outputs, and prepare products for shipping while maintaining quality and safety standards.

You will rotate tasks within the cell and across cells, sign off on completed work for traceability, and participate in 6S housekeeping, meetings, and problem-solving sessions.

• Rotate assignments within a job cell and between cells as required.
• Sign off on work for traceability and 6S housekeeping duties.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds consistently.

A Production Technician I for Bastian Automation will be responsible for general assembly of volume material handling equipment projects. The main emphasis for this position is production assembly, other duties may include assisting in other departments.

• Rotate job assignments within a job cell as well as in other cells as required.

• Communicate effectively with other team members in the cell as well as attend all team meetings, problem solving sessions, training, shift meetings, etc. as necessary.
