Job summary

BrandFX, a TIME Manufacturing Company, is seeking a Welder to fabricate and weld components according to customer drawings and specifications. The role requires MIG/TIG welding skills, ability to read blueprints, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The Welder will operate grinders, drills, torches, and a crane, while working a 7:00am - 3:30pm shift, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed. Training and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to weld using MIG and TIG on production parts according to blueprints and specs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job travelers.
• Maintain safety and quality standards while meeting production targets.

Responsibilities

• Weld components per blueprints using MIG and TIG.
• Stand/sit as required, handle parts up to 50 lbs.
• Inspect finished work to ensure conformance to specs.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Rotate between jigs/fixtures to meet schedule.

Summary

Under the direction of the Fabrication Supervisor, the Welder works from customer drawings, fabricate and weld components to produce the highest quality products, while meeting departmental performance standards, customer specifications and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsabilities And Duties

• Using MIG and/or TIG, weld components together according to blueprints.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• The employee occasionally is required to walk, talk or hear, reach above shoulders, climb or balance, and sit.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to learn operations of multiple jigs/fixtures within a job area and must be able to regularly rotate jobs to meet schedules.
• Must work at a reasonable pace (measured by production efficiency) and within our quality standards to insure timely completion.
• Check and verify part numbers prior to assembly of product to customer specifications.
• Notify supervisor of part shortages before the part runs out.
• Dual Shield welding experience preferred but not required.
• Inspect completed work relative to finish quality standards.
• Follow all job-related safety and health procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Successfully complete in-house welding test
• Ability to read and understand blueprints at an advanced level
• Accurately measure and lay out locations for welded components
• Adjust weld as needed to accommodate varying thicknesses of steel
• Operate grinder, drill, torch and crane as assigned
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation, etc.
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards
