TIME Manufacturing Company is seeking a welder in Graham, NC to read blueprints and weld components using MIG/TIG processes. You will operate grinders and cranes, lift up to 50 pounds, and adhere to strict safety and quality standards as you follow production schedules.

You will join BrandFX operations under the Fabrication Supervisors’ guidance, contributing to high-quality, durable fiberglass products. Candidates must pass an in-house welding test and demonstrate precise measurement and

• Successfully complete in-house welding test.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints at an advanced level.
• Accurately measure and lay out locations for welded components.
• Adjust weld as needed to accommodate varying thicknesses of steel.
• Operate grinder, drill, torch and crane as assigned.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation, etc.
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Fabrication Supervisor, the Welder works from customer drawings, fabricate and weld components to produce the highest quality products, while meeting departmental performance standards, customer specifications and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Using MIG and/or TIG, weld components together according to blueprints.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• The employee occasionally is required to walk, talk or hear, reach above shoulders, climb or balance, and sit.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to learn operations of multiple jigs/fixtures within a job area and must be able to regularly rotate jobs to meet schedules.
• Must work at a reasonable pace (measured by production efficiency) and within our quality standards to insure timely completion.
• Check and verify part numbers prior to assembly of product to customer specifications.
• Notify supervisor of part shortages before the part runs out.
• Dual Shield welding experience preferred but not required.
• Inspect completed work relative to finish quality standards.
• Follow all job-related safety and health procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as directed by supervisor.
