Job summary

Fox Factory is seeking a skilled welder for an evening shift. You will weld metal components per layouts and blueprints, using brazing, gas and arc welding methods, while performing cutting and grinding tasks as needed.

Candidates should have 2+ years welding experience in manufacturing, with a high school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus. The role involves physical demands typical of a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years welding experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• HS graduate or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welds metal parts using gas welding, brazing, and various arc welding processes.
• Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding.
• Repairs broken or cracked parts and enlarges metal parts as needed.
• Positions and clamps components of fabricated metal products prior to welding.
• May inspect and repair engine cylinder heads using appropriate tools and methods.
• May be required to pass employer performance tests or certifications per gov't or professional standards.

Shift: Monday - Friday; 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Shift Premium: $1.50/hr

Position Summary:

Welds metal components together; fabricates or repairs products according to layouts, blueprints, or work orders, using brazing and variety ofarc and gas welding equipment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Welds metal parts together, using both gas welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes.
• Performs related tasks, such as thermal cutting and grinding.
• Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts.
• Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
• May locate and repair cracks in industrial engine cylinder heads, using inspection equipment and gas torch.
• May be required to pass employer performance tests or standard tests to meet certification standards of governmental agencies or professional and technical associations

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

Education:

HS Graduate or equivalent

Technical training or certification preferred

Experience:

2+ years of prior experience welding required, preferably in manufacturing environment

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Manufacturing Environment

Lift up to 50 lbs.regularly

Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time

Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
