Job summary

FULL VISION INC is seeking a skilled welder to fabricate metal components and operate welding equipment. The role involves welding ferrous and non-ferrous metals, loading parts into fixtures, and performing quality checks on welds to ensure conformance with specifications.

You may also set up and maintain welding tools and, if required, operate robotic or cobot welders. Laborers must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 65 pounds, and pass pre-employment tests including a hands-on weld

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret simple assembly instructions and drawings.
• Two years’ manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must pass drug test, agility test, and hands-on weld test.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate new metal components per product data sheets.
• Set up, maintain, and operate welding equipment including robotic/cobot welders if required.
• Load parts in fixtures and inspect welds for defects.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and follow safety standards.
• Notify supervisor of inventory and tooling needs.

General SummaryWelds ferrous and non-ferrous metals. May use GMAW or Resistance Spot Welding processes. Sets own welding machine, changes wire spools, gas cylinders, and does preventive maintenance of welding machine, wire feeder and related equipment. Loads own parts in fixtures. May be responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and operation of robotic (or cobot) welding equipment.Essential Functions:Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shiftFabricate new metal components in accordance with product data sheets and in compliance with all applicable standards of safety and performanceMaintain tools and equipment to a professional standard. Regular attendance and starting on time are essential. Are expected to pass AWS D1.1 Certification within first 30 days of employment. AWS D1.1 Certification is required for Grade B- and higher. Responsible for the quality of your own work and to not accept poor quality workmanship from others.
