Job Title: Welder

Location: Ft. Worth, TX

Duration: 6 months contract

Shift: 1st Shift: 7am - 3:30pm

Weld Test Required

Top 3 things client looking for:

  • Aircraft type welding experience, specifically TIG welding of Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Inconel, Titanium
  • Ability to fuse thin metal with a sheetmetal background
  • Ability to work closely in a team environment and independently

Position Summary:

Performs manual welding on various types of stainless steels, in fabrication or repair, under supervision.

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Performs approved welding techniques to specifications
  • Reads and interprets drawings, procedures, weld symbols, and quality requirements
  • Fine-tunes processes to ensure product conformance
  • Inspects and processes work accurately

Secondary Responsibilities/Non Essential Functions:

  • Maintains a clean, organized, FOD-free work area
  • Obtains and maintains welding qualifications and certifications
  • Follows safety rules and maintains performance standards
  • Supports setup and lean initiatives

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years of TIG welding experience, including stainless, Inconel, and titanium
  • GTAW experience in aerospace or precision fabrication preferred
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications
