Job description

Stick Welders

Pay: $28 - $31 per hour

Hours: 60+ hours per week

Location: Fort Worth - Fabrication Shop

Shift: Night shift

Position Overview:

The Pipe Welder is responsible for various welding preparations, welding, and finishing operations to manufacture products according to customer drawings, specifications, or other instructions.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  1. Proficient in assigned welding techniques.
  2. Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including reading weld symbols.
  3. Knowledge of wire and filler materials for various steel alloys, aluminum, and exotic materials.
  4. Understanding of fixturing and weld setup parameters (amps, volts, etc.).
  5. Use of conventional and precision measuring instruments.
  6. Process inspection, certification, and documentation.
  7. Maintenance and inspection of welding equipment.
  8. Finish grinding using manual and power tools.
  9. Adherence to safety protocols and housekeeping.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
