Job summary

LaborFinders in Georgia is seeking an experienced Welder for an immediate opening in Douglasville. You will weld and fabricate structural steel using MIG and/or stick welding, following blueprints and work instructions.

The role offers day and night shifts (6am-6:30pm/6pm-6:30am), Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays. Pay ranges from $18-23 per hour based on experience, with opportunities to start immediately.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months MIG welding experience preferred.
• Production welding experience is a plus.
• AWS certification helpful but not required.
• Ability to pass welding test/certification.
• Basic math and measuring skills required.
• Able to work overtime/weekends when needed.
• Knowledge of steel alloys, welding material, and fabrication tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate MIG welding tools and equipment.
• Measure, cut, tack, weld, grind, and clean materials.
• Read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Operate welders, torches, drills, saws and other shop equipment.
• Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain equipment and keep work area clean.
• Report equipment and quality issues to supervisor.
